Cream cheese spread with smoked fish on toast or bagels, topped with a few fancies.
I absolutely do not care if some people find the smoked fish, cream cheese, caper combo to be played out. It's 100% delicious as hell. If you need a little something different to your daily bagel or toast topper than JUST smoked salmon on top of cream cheese, then try this and tell the smoked fish haters to shove it down their pie-hole (and maybe now they'll actually find it yummy). You'll be eating smoked fish cream cheese toasts with all your new found smoked fish lovers before you know it.
You can add as much or as little smoked fish as you like, and experiment with all kinds! Big fan of the smoked trout at Trader Joes, smoked salmon can't be beat, smoked sardines are close to my heart. All are a delight.
Bagel lovers and toast fiends rejoice, you just found your new favorite spread.
