Van Kitchen Essentials #6-10, because you have to stock up that mobile kitchen for delightful treats along your journey.

We already went over the first few necessities in the last article: Van Kitchen Essentials #1-5. This covered everything from your pans to your coffee set up, though there is definitely more to be had. You might not need it all, though it's something to get your brain flowing for what you may need on the road.

So let's continue, here's a few more necessities to bring along in your mobile kitchen.

Van Kitchen Essential #6) Fish Spatula

It is love, it is a fish spatula. You'll need a spatula in the van, so you might as well make it a good one and I swear fish spatulas are the best kind. Everything from the angle on it to the thin sturdiness (to really get under that piece of fish or egg you're frying up) makes it great. Also, get the steel and wood combo, I would have melted a plastic one long ago with how often it's sitting on a hot pan.

Van Kitchen Essential #7) Tiny stainless steel pot

This pot is dope. It's perfect for one or two people, has measurements on the side (making guessing ramen liquid easy) and strains out the side so you're not messing around with a colander.

BEST OVERALL: AVACRAFT STAINLESS STEEL SAUCEPAN

Van Kitchen Essential #8) Castile dish soap

Castille soap is boss. It's biodegradable, cleans your dishes, YOU, your dog, literally everything.

GOOD OPTION: DR. BRONNERS 25OZ, PEPPERMINT

Van Kitchen Essential #9) Chef knife

A small pocket knife or subpar knife may cut it for weekend camp trips, but it's not going to cut it full time in the van. Get yourself a good one that doesn't break the bank. We're by the ocean all the time, so our knives actually tend to take a beating by the humidity - so maybe don't bring your brand new $200 knife if you can help it.

Do keep in mind you'll be working in a small space and sometimes not on the sturdiest surface, so you'll want a sharp enough knife to work some magic.

Van Kitchen Essential #10) The darn Yeti cups

Sweet Yeti. They are my coffee cup in the morning, keeping liquids hot and wonderful, and my wine cup by night, chill and sturdy. They are everything you need them to be and worth the price tag.

Volume 2.0, that's a wrap. If you still haven't checked out the first list of camper van necessities, find it HERE. These are all things that we use every day and, no matter what your set up is, you probably will too.
